Simon Wylie is an Adviser and Director of Pixelle, bringing with him over 25 years of experience in serving businesses across media, advertising, technology, and marketing communications.
With a track record of successfully delivering multiple exit strategy projects (2-5 years) and exit partner networks, Mr Wylie specialises in high-value creation and identifying growth gaps. He provides advisory services on growth strategy and operating models to enhance future scalable business performance.
Mr Wylie’s expertise lies in digital advertising marketplace drivers, client commercial engagement models, agency business models, media investment performance ROI, and brand marketing operations.
Previously, Mr Wylie served as the Chief Executive Director of Contagious Communications Ltd, an internally renowed creative and strategic intelligence service that assists agencies and brands in delivering innovative and effective digital marketing solutions.
Prior to his role at Contagious, he co-founded Xtreme Information Ltd, a leading independent marketing analytics and creative consultancy. Established in 1997, the company experienced steady growth, leading to a sale of 75% equity to a New York-based venture capital group for £32 million in 2001, and ultimately to Ebiquity PLC in 2010.
Simon Wylie is a strong advocate of value-based business models and has successfully assisted agencies in achieving double-digit multiples during exits. Apart from his role at Pixelle, he serves on the Board of Directors of three other growing agencies in the media industry, including The Business Model Company. The Business Company is a world leader in designing and implementing advertising and media agency business models to deliver sustainable commerical success. Their clients include Huge, TBWA, VMLY&R, WPP, Omnicom, Dentsu, Oracle, Mars and RB.
In addition to his professional roles, Mr Wylie has also contributed as the Vice Chair of the University of Westminster, serving on the resources and finance committee. He currently holds the position of Chair at Regent Cinema Group Ltd, an internally renowned independent arts and repertoire cinema.
