As an Adviser to Pixelle, Rachel Addison brings extensive commercial and strategic leadership skills with a proven track record of drivng, developing and delivering profitable growth through organic revenue growth, business transformation, organisational restructuring, and mergers & acquisitions.

Rachel Addison held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Future PLC, a globally recognised platform business for specialist media. During her tenure, she oversaw six acquisitions, achieved five profit upgrades, and significantly improved organic growth to double-digit figures. These accomplishments contributed to doubling the market capitalisation of the Group to £4.5 billion.

Prior to her role at Future PLC, Ms Addison held several prominent positions in the media industry. She served as Chief Financial Officer for TI Media Limited and Local World Limited. Additionally, she held the position of Executive Finance/Operations Director at Northcliffe Media Limited and served as Managing Director of Trinity Mirror Regionals. These companies were all regional media publishers with an annual turnover exceeding £200 million and managing a diverse portfolio of over 400 print titles and website brands.

Before entering the media publishing industry, Ms Addison gained valuable experience in the corporate world. She worked as the Head of Risk Management at Boots The Chemists, a retail division of Boots Group PLC. She later became the Head of Finance at Boots Healthcare International, a global healthcare and FMCG business within the same group.

Ms Addison began her career at Arthur Andersen where as Audit Manager, she managed a portfolio of 20 audit clients. She led audit teams, facilitated staff development, and conducted due diligence work for notable client such as Synter Group (flotation) and Raleigh Industries (acquisitioin bid).

In recent years, Rachel Addison has diversified her career and expanded her Non-Executive Director (NED) portfolio. She currently serves on the boards of five companies operating in various technology, construction- and media-related sectors. Notably, these include listed companies on the AIM. Her expertise in finance and transactions would add significant value to Pixelle, providing valuable insights and guidance to support the company’s growth and success.
