Adviser - Interim Chief Financial Offier

Emil Stoica is a Adviser and serves as the interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Pixelle. As the interim CFO, he assists the company with identifying acquisition opportunities in select markets nationally and internationally as well as overseeing the company’s financial operations and strategies.

Mr Stoica is an experienced CFO with 20 years of expertise in the media industry. Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to create value and drive growth, both organically and through mergers and acquisitions.

Mr Stoica holds the position of CFO for the international markets of Antenna Group, a privately owned dynamic business operating in the media sector. In his role, Mr Stoica oversaw the acquisition and integration of a large brand present in 12 European countires, as well as 5 sell-side transactions with record returns of investment. He loves to be hands-on and has overseen the launch of multiple projects, ranging from video-on-demand businesses to advertising partnerships, and subscription and services businesses. Some of these projects have been successfully sold or have attracted significant external funding for future growth.

Before joining Antenna Group, he served as the CFO of Modern Times Group’s (MTG) Central European Broadcasting division. In this capacity, he oversaw operations in Central Europe, Russia and The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Additionally, he held directorship positions at Viasat World UK Ltd, FTV Prima Czech Republic and Nova Broadcasting Bulgaria, all of which are subsidiaries of MTG. Prior to his directorial roles, Mr Stoica worked as the Head of Internal Audit at MTG. MTG, a publicly-traded digital entertainment holding company, manages a portfolio of companies in gaming and digital network sectors, including InnoGames, Ninja Kiwi, Kongregate, among others.

Prior to entering the media industry, Emil Stoica qualified as chartered certified accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he worked as a manager in the assurance division. During his time at PwC, he managed a portfolio of 30 clients from diverse industries, including Initiative Media and MTV in the media sector, DHL in the logistics sector, and Coca-Cola in the consumer goods sector. Additionally, he successfully carried out various projects ranging from due diligence assessments to privatisation programmes.
